SCREENSHOT STUDY · VERSION 1.0
Your ideas.
Your private library.
Screenshot Study processes your screenshots on your device and syncs your personal workspace through your private iCloud account. This policy describes version 1.0 and this product website.
Effective 3 October 2026. Publisher: Bighelpers Softwares and Solutions Pvt Ltd.
What stays on your device
The app stores imported images, recognised text, edits, notes, chapter projects, preferences and milestones in its local app container. No app account is required. Big Helpers does not receive this study content through the app.
Text recognition uses Apple Vision locally. Optional chapter suggestions use Apple Intelligence through Apple’s on-device Foundation Models framework when the device and model are available. You review suggestions before they change a project.
Photos and files
You choose individual images with the system Photos picker or import image files from Files. Finding recent screenshots asks for Photos access and reads only accessible images. You can restrict or revoke that access in your device’s Settings. Screenshot Study does not automatically capture other apps or delete images from your Photos library.
Masking and originals
Opaque masks are burned into exported pages. Hidden text is excluded from the exported PDF’s searchable layer and its plain-text and Markdown companions. The app retains original imported images for reversible editing until you delete the screenshots. Masking is not a way to erase an original from your Photos library or from previously saved copies.
Private iCloud sync
When you are signed in to iCloud and allow this app to use it, personal screenshots, original images, recognised text, reversible edits, notes, chapters and milestone records sync through Apple CloudKit to your devices using the same Apple Account. These use your iCloud storage allowance. Original images are included even if you mask part of an export. Big Helpers does not receive your private CloudKit study content. Apple handles the service under its applicable terms and privacy policy.
Your workspace saves locally first and remains available offline. Pending changes and deletions sync when iCloud becomes available. Check Project sync in the app for status and errors. Samples, experience preferences and generated PDFs remain local. Sync is not an independent backup: deletions are also sent to your other devices.
Sharing, Files and printing
You choose when to share, save or print a book. The selected receiving app, file-storage provider or printer then handles that copy under its own policies. Copies saved to iCloud Drive and device backups depend on your Apple account settings.
Retention and deletion
Delete screenshots from the library to remove their images and edits and remove them from chapters. Projects left empty are removed. Deleting a project removes its chapter organisation and local generated exports while keeping library images. Allow Project sync to finish to transfer those deletions to iCloud and your other devices. A minimal deletion marker may remain to stop removed content returning after an offline device reconnects; it does not include the deleted image or text. Copies already exported elsewhere are independent and must be removed there.
Deleting the app removes its local workspace, but does not delete its iCloud data. Delete personal items and projects in the app and let sync finish, or manage the app’s iCloud storage in Apple Settings. Backups, if enabled through your device settings, are managed separately by Apple.
No tracking, advertising or connected cloud AI
Version 1.0 has no advertising, analytics SDK, cross-app tracking, purchases or connected third-party cloud AI service. The app does not request an advertising identifier. Private CloudKit storage is separate from AI processing; your study content is not sent to a third-party AI service.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device details and description of the issue. It is used to answer your request. Please avoid attaching private screenshots or sensitive study material unless you intend to share them. Support correspondence is separate from your local app workspace. You can request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us, subject to obligations that require retention.
This website
The marketing site serves its own images and video without embedded advertising, analytics, social widgets or contact forms. Its pages do not set application cookies or use browser storage. The hosting and network providers may process ordinary request and security logs, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, time and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. These web requests are separate from your private study workspace. We do not use them for cross-app tracking or advertising profiles.
Children and changes
The app does not require age information or knowingly collect children’s study content. Device-owner controls govern access to Photos, Files and sharing. If a future version introduces additional cloud services or different data practices, this policy and the in-app explanation will be updated before those services are offered.
